at Hillsborough Tabernacle Church, Proctor Place, Sheffield S6 4HF

Mondays, 6.30 - 8.00 term time only.   We are not meeting on Monday 27th October - join us on Monday 3rd November.

Ages six and over - come and enjoy crafts, dance and fun with your friends.

It has been good to welcome the girls back and we hope that over the next few weeks we can encourage other girls to join us. If you know any girls who might be interested please do get in touch.

Time flies and we are once again enjoying mainly crafts and baking. To link with the Harvest we made Emergency Bread (good on the first day but needed toasting on the second). We spent some time in Church looking at the harvest gifts and talking about how the Archer Project support people who are homeless. The girls then enjoyed packing all the products ready for us to take to the Archer Project. In addition the girls have been painting harvest pictures and alphabet letters which we have made into a poster to display in Church.

We have planned our programme for the next few weeks.. Josie Gelder joined us to tell the Biblical story of Ruth and make God's Eyes:

We welcome Jenny to our leadership team and her special baking skills have been really useful. We really must thank Margaret and Karen for all their hard work on a Monday evening too - the group could not manage without them!

It wont be long now before we are starting to think about Christmas crafts and one evening Angela will be joining us to teach us a new skill for making cards.

We will be taking a break at half term as many of our girls are away with their families. We are only a small group but our ages range from 6 to 13 and all the girls work together. For any girls who would like to join us we meet on a Monday evening 6.30 to 8.00 (younger girls are welcome to leave earlier). The first night is free and we think we are very good value for an evening costing only £1.50 including all craft materials, baking ingredients and a drink before going home.

I think everyone enjoyed our Harvest Breakfast Celebration and our next one will be a Christmas celebration on SUNDAY 7 TH DECEMBER at 9.30 a.m. Everyone is welcome, whatever your age, so why not come and join us for breakfast and make a craft (if you want to). Before we go home we have a short child friendly talk.
