Mondays, 6.30 - 8.00 term time only.   We are taking a break now until Monday 20th January, our first meeting of 2025!

Ages 5 and over - come and enjoy crafts, dance and fun with your friends.

Over the last few months the girls have been busy learning new skills, particularly sewing and you can see some of the items they have made in the photographs, finally making Tote Bags with their own initials decorated with beads.

Items made from Hama beads

We have also been looking at where some of our fruit originates from and we made fruit salad and each girl took a container home for her family.  The jam tarts we made were rather sticky but everyone enjoyed them!

The girls also made Fathers' Day cards:

On our final evening the girls were presented with certificates for attendance and the work they have done.

Once again the school year has flown by and we are now on our summer break looking back at the year gone by and wondering how we can encourage new girls to come along and join us in the autumn.  In previous years we have approached local schools to see if they could include a paragraph or two telling their children about our activities, but we had no response.  We have also handed out flyers and put posters in key places locally.

If you have any ideas could you let me know on our email tabs.32gb@btinternet.com and I would be happy to ring you back.

Each evening we usually have time playing ball games or box games and hopefully in the autumn Lisa will be returning to us after a short break, so we hope to once again include dance in our evening’s programme.

If you know any girls who might like to come and join us making decorations etc  (don't forget the first night is free and then £1.50 each night including all crafts, drinks and biscuits).
