Boys' Brigade

Boys' Brigade is national but the 10th Sheffield Company is local!   It is for boys aged 5 and upwards.   We have space - why not join us?

All leaders are DBS checked.  This is how the BB makes sure boys are safe.

When do we meet?

Fridays, school term time only.

6.00 - 7.15 pm for boys aged 5-11,

7.00 - 9.00 pm for boys of year 7 onwards

What do we do?

Here we are making Christmas decorations:

Two of the boys cutting wood for the decoration

Clamping and sticking the pieces together

Cutting the next pieces of wood

One of the boys painting the decoration, which is in the shape of a Christmas tree and painted green

One of the boys putting the finishing touches to the decoration, which is standing upright on a table

The finished tree, painted green, with a light at the base, and figures of Father Christmas arranged on across it at three levels

We learn new skills and work to get badges.   We are proud of our achievements.  If you are older you can gain the President's Badge and the King's Badge - you can put those on your personal statement and CV!

Here is Tom Carroll receiving his Presidents' Badge:

and here is John Carroll receiving his King's Badge, the highest award

Where do we meet?
