at Hillsborough Tabernacle Church, Proctor Place, Sheffield S6 4HF

Mondays, 6.30 - 8.00 term time only.  Please note our only meeting is May is Monday May 11th.

Ages six and over - come and enjoy crafts, dance and fun with your friends.

Time flies and during the past few months the girls have been busy creating cards and gifts for both Easter and Mothers’ Day as well as enjoying baking, building Bible style houses with Lego while listening to stories of the homes Jesus would have visited and painting is always popular!

Here are two photos from the Lego building project.

Around this time of year we always seem to be missing our Monday evenings together, particularly so over Easter and May Bank Holidays.  This year May is exceptional as we will be closed for May Day Bank Holiday on Monday 4th plus Spring Bank Holiday on Monday 25th.  Additionally we will be closed on Monday 18th.  In other words, the only Monday we will be meeting is Monday 11th.  We are sorry girls but this is an exceptional month and by June we will be back to normal.

As we approach May we are looking forward to our celebrations for the Centenary of the founding of The Girls Life Brigade here at our Church 100 years ago.  Please see the information on the Church home page.  Everyone is welcome to come and join in our special Thanksgiving Service on Sunday 5th July.

Even though we are missing a few nights we would welcome any new girls, so if you know any who particularly like crafts please encourage them to join us and the FIRST NIGHT IS FREE!  On all other Mondays we feel we are good value at £1.50 per evening, which includes all craft materials and drinks and biscuits.

Here are two photos from Easter.
